TL;DR
Risk & Compliance Lead (Enterprise Risk and Compliance): Leading the customer's risk and compliance framework across enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, privacy, financial crime, policy governance, internal controls, and incident response with an accent on senior stakeholder guidance, governance reporting, and remediation follow-through. Focus on maintaining risk registers, strengthening control frameworks, monitoring regulatory change, and coordinating incidents, breaches, and protected disclosures through to closure.
Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the customer's Dublin office

What you will do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the customer's risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and remediation.
- Maintain risk registers, action logs, and supporting records for clear decision-making.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impact, and support implementation of required changes.
- Develop practical compliance arrangements covering privacy, financial crime, codes of conduct, whistleblowing, and other non-financial risks.
- Prepare reporting and governance papers for senior management, committees, and the Board, while tracking actions and remediation progress.
- Coordinate incident, breach, complaint, and protected-disclosure reviews through to documented closure.
Requirements
- Strong experience in risk, compliance, governance, privacy, financial crime, legal, or control-focused roles.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, compliance frameworks, internal controls, policy governance, and incident handling.
- Experience maintaining risk registers and preparing reports for senior management, committees, or Boards.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders while managing operational detail, regulatory requirements, and remediation.
- Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, organization, and ownership of compliance matters through to closure.
- Availability to work 3 days per week from the customer's Dublin office.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud, data, or AI-related compliance and risk considerations.
- Experience with organizational change or control framework transformation projects.
