Insurance Compliance Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom; flexible hybrid working with 1–2 days per week in the central London office.

What you will do

• Provide second-line compliance advice and oversight for insurance, consumer credit, and cashback card products.
• Advise on policies, procedures, process design, scripts, financial promotions, complaints, conduct matters, and compliance incidents.
• Assess internal control effectiveness, oversee remediation, and improve controls based on root-cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Prepare regulatory reports for the FCA and other relevant bodies, including Suspicious Activity Reports.
• Partner with first-line teams and Legal & Compliance colleagues, deliver compliance training, and promote good customer outcomes.
• Support business and regulatory change while monitoring regulatory developments and sharing impact analysis.

Requirements

• Solid second-line defence advisory or compliance experience in financial services.
• Professional experience with general insurance products is essential.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in an FCA-regulated organisation is essential.
• Experience identifying compliance risks and opportunities and developing proportionate responses in a changing environment.
• Experience with financial crime, consumer credit, or cashback card products is highly desirable.
