Consultant Compliance Officer (Finance)

Location: Saint Peter Port, Guernsey; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Provide outsourced MLRO and MLCO services to clients.
• Advise clients on applicable laws, regulations, regulatory reporting, and regulatory developments.
• Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, procedures, manuals, and practice guidelines.
• Maintain the PEP register, authorize PEP transaction clearance, and provide PEP regulatory reporting.
• Perform transaction monitoring, quality control and quality assurance, including oversight testing of offshore AML service locations.
• Assess compliance risks, engage with clients, regulators, auditors, and internal partners, and mentor junior employees.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of applicable GFSC laws and regulations.
• Several years of experience in risk management or compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to advise clients at board level.
• Ability to analyze and summarize information and apply laws and regulations to business operations.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance risk avoidance and the ability to operate independently.
