Head of Legal (Fintech)

Building an AI operating system that automates how major financial institutions produce and validate client-ready work, with a recently closed $75 million Series A.

What you will do

• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of Terms of Service, NDAs, commercial agreements, investment agreements, and term sheets.
• Manage corporate governance documents, stock options, financing events, and related due diligence with Finance and external legal counsel.
• Create and implement a contract management system and maintain organized legal records.
• Support immigration, employment law, hiring, terminations, employee relations, and employment-related policies.
• Provide guidance on privacy, data processing, cybersecurity, compliance, regulatory standards, and risk management.
• Report directly to the founders and provide strategic legal guidance during rapid company growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working for a tier 1 law firm.
• Strong academic background.
• Experience navigating legal and regulatory issues across finance and technology sectors.
• Ability to work under high pressure, make critical decisions, and handle changing priorities.
• Willingness to work very hard.
