Project Manager (Cloud Migration)

Location: Herndon, VA; hybrid work environment

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration and IT modernization projects focused on Microsoft GCC and GCC High environments.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, resources, and change management activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary client contact, providing status updates and addressing concerns.
• Oversee migrations of email, SharePoint, and other services using tools such as AvePoint Fly Migration Tool.
• Guide the deployment and management of SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Office 365 in GCC and GCC High environments.
• Maintain data integrity, security, federal compliance, project governance documentation, and PMO best practices.

Requirements

• Current, interim, or previous security clearance, or documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation, is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation; applicants without the required clearance status or eligibility will not be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, information systems, or a related field; equivalent experience or military training may be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in cloud migration, cybersecurity, or IT modernization.
• Experience with Microsoft GCC and GCC High migrations, including security controls, licensing, and migration tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies; proficiency with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD, or federal agency compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Power BI, or Microsoft Office 365 in GCC and GCC High environments.
• PMP, CAPM, or ITIL certification, or willingness to obtain one.
