Senior Director, Product Partnerships (FinTech)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Salt Lake City, with on-site expectations of 2–3 days per week in the local office. Candidates outside these areas may be eligible for relocation assistance.

Compensation: OTE of $285,000–$350,000 USD for NYC/Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Seattle; $245,000–$305,000 USD for Salt Lake City and other U.S. cities. This is a commission-earning role.

What you will do

• Develop the capability landscape across payments, money movement, credit and bureau data, identity, risk, and data infrastructure.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Finance, and Business leadership to identify capability gaps, margin opportunities, and build-buy-partner decisions.
• Lead complex negotiations with payment networks, processors, credit bureaus, financial institutions, and strategic data providers.
• Own partnerships from opportunity identification through term sheet, contract execution, integration, launch, renewal, and portfolio optimization.
• Translate partner capabilities and agreement terms into product roadmaps, integration plans, success metrics, QBRs, and performance reviews.
• Build the Product Partnerships function from zero to one, including its operating model, playbooks, reporting, and future team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience across product partnerships, business development, product management, or corporate development, ideally in fintech, payments, credit, or platform technology.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major capability domain, such as payments, credit and bureau data, or data infrastructure.
• Proven experience negotiating complex agreements and carrying them through integration and launch to measurable P&L impact.
• Experience identifying new capabilities or commercial relationships and leading cross-functional execution.
• Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams while operating hands-on during the initial build.
• Ability to work credibly with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance on APIs, integrations, underwriting requirements, and unit economics.
