Principal Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote. Regular team onsites may take place once or twice per quarter, depending on the team and role. Collaboration spans U.S. East and West Coast time zones.

Base salary: $187,900–$260,000 USD annually, plus target bonus opportunities and annual equity grants.

What you will do

• Own strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and execution for a major capital platform problem space.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives across product, engineering, finance, compliance, and adjacent platform teams.
• Define configurable, reusable platform capabilities for diverse capital partners without excessive customization.
• Partner with engineering leaders on architecture, technical tradeoffs, sequencing, dependencies, and long-term platform evolution.
• Build platform capabilities for partner onboarding, configuration, capital execution workflows, reporting, insights, and embedded or white-label solutions.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders, validate new problem spaces, and evolve initial implementations into scalable systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience or equivalent scope and impact leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives.
• Principal- or Staff-level individual contributor experience with influence across multiple teams.
• Experience designing, building, and shipping platforms, infrastructure, or shared systems.
• Experience with complex B2B or B2B2C workflows, including onboarding, payments, compliance, financial operations, reporting, or partner integrations.
• Strong technical fluency and experience partnering with engineering on system design, architecture, technical tradeoffs, and platform strategy.
• Experience operating in regulated, high-reliability environments; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, lending, data platforms, reporting systems, or analytics products.
• Zero-to-one product development and experience scaling early implementations.
• Experience in high-growth technology organizations or collaboration with machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics teams.
