Director of Go-to-Market Engineering

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid work with in-person collaboration three days per week and residence within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub required.

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year, plus stock options.

hirify.global is a SaaS platform for travel and spend management that automates bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related operational work for businesses.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end GTM Engineering architecture across CRM, enrichment, signals, sequencing, orchestration, and data layers.
• Define the tooling strategy, roadmap, engineering standards, documentation, testing, monitoring, and rollback practices.
• Design and build production systems in Clay, including tables, waterfall enrichment, AI columns, webhooks, and API integrations.
• Build orchestration and agentic workflows using modern LLM and automation tooling for research, qualification, summarization, data entry, prospecting, and account intelligence.
• Improve seller productivity through CRM autofill, quoting, meeting preparation, opportunity hygiene, outbound automation, risk signals, and account planning.
• Lead and develop a small senior team across Europe and North America while translating commercial problems into measurable technical outcomes.

Requirements

• Deep experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, Sales Systems, Growth Engineering, or a related technical commercial function in B2B SaaS.
• Proven delivery of GTM Engineering systems at scale for organizations with hundreds of sellers, combined with experience as both a builder and a leader.
• Production expertise with Clay and deep fluency in Salesforce data models and integration patterns.
• Working proficiency in at least one of Python, SQL, SOQL, TypeScript, or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience designing scalable, monitored, recoverable systems and working across enrichment, intent, sequencing, orchestration, data infrastructure, LLM, and agent tooling.
• English is the official language at the office; candidates must be based within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing a GTM Engineering function at a high-growth SaaS company, ideally above $100M ARR.
• Experience taking an automation program from pilot to global production.
• Multi-region GTM experience across EMEA and North America.
