What you will do

• Conduct Functional Hazard Assessments and System Safety Assessments for military aircraft and systems through certification.
• Perform risk analyses supporting aircraft development, including Permit to Fly and Type Certificate activities.
• Conduct Particular Risk, Zonal Safety, and Common Mode Analyses.
• Generate and manage safety requirements, safety evidence, procedures, and limitations.
• Influence aircraft and systems architecture according to required safety and integrity levels.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, design teams, airworthiness authorities, partners, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Master's degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Physical Science, or a similar discipline.
• Mandatory knowledge of aircraft systems.
• At least 2 years of system engineering experience involving safety assessment, airworthiness, or certification.
• Experience with Safety Tools such as Isograph FaultTree+ or Reliability Workbench.
• Fluent English and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, safety-oriented approach to work.

Nice to have

• Previous System Safety Assessment experience.
• German language skills.
