SEO & GEO Manager (AI Search/Telecoms): Leading organic search and generative engine optimisation for EE, BT and Plusnet with an accent on technical SEO, AI answer engines, content strategy, and conversion growth. Focus on building the SEO/GEO roadmap, improving visibility across AI platforms, embedding search requirements into digital products, and managing a team of five SEO Specialists.
Location: Birmingham, London or Manchester, United Kingdom

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation strategy, roadmap and operating model.
- Improve brand visibility, citation rates and answer share across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search and Perplexity.
- Lead content-led SEO initiatives focused on user intent, customer experience, engagement and conversion.
- Govern technical SEO practices covering crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, international SEO and CMS optimisation.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Content, UX, CRO, Analytics, Marketing and Brand teams to embed SEO into digital development and measurement.
- Manage and develop a team of five SEO Specialists while reporting on organic bookings, revenue, traffic, conversion and search performance.
Requirements
- Extensive enterprise SEO experience across large-scale digital environments.
- Strong technical and content SEO expertise, including experience with emerging AEO/GEO practices.
- Experience with content, UX, e-commerce and conversion optimisation.
- Proficiency in web analytics, experimentation, forecasting and reporting using Google Search Console, GA4 and Looker.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
