Head of SEO & AEO

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for SEO and AEO across client accounts and ensure consistent day-to-day delivery.
• Run audits, keyword research, technical SEO work, and Webflow migration activities personally when required.
• Lead strategy and growth for approximately 10–15 active SEO/AEO retainers, including scope expansion and service refinement.
• Manage two direct reports and help structure the wider SEO/AEO function as it grows.
• Select and operate AEO monitoring tools, translate visibility data into client actions, and improve reporting and internal processes.
• Support sales conversations, strategic workshops, team training, and clean Webflow migration go-lives.

Requirements

• Proven SEO experience and practical working knowledge of AEO.
• Hands-on experience running SEO audits and keyword research.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team and directing developers and designers on technical and on-page changes.
• Daily practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity, plus familiarity with AEO monitoring tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
• Experience with or strong interest in Webflow or other modern CMS platforms.

Nice to have

• Basic familiarity with data and tracking setups, including GA4, GTM, and dashboard analysis.
