TL;DR
Continuous Improvement Manager (Medical Devices): Redesigning end-to-end warehouse and distribution processes for a high-volume, regulated medical device operation with an accent on Lean Six Sigma, productivity, capacity, flow, quality, and service. Focus on leading DMAIC and Kaizen initiatives, optimizing automation and material flow, and embedding measurable improvements through standard work, data analysis, and cross-functional change leadership.

Location: Roosendaal, Netherlands; onsite, full-time role.

Base salary: €90,000–€120,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Redesign receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, value-added services, labeling, shipping, and supporting warehouse processes.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and standard work to solve complex operational problems.
  • Improve labor productivity, throughput, capacity, material flow, cost, quality, service, and the utilization of automation and infrastructure.
  • Build and manage a continuous improvement roadmap, leading initiatives from problem definition through implementation and sustainment.
  • Use operational data, observations, time studies, KPIs, and performance analysis to establish improvement priorities and business cases.
  • Coach managers, supervisors, and frontline employees while partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Transportation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 8–12 years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean, operational excellence, or process improvement within distribution, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or similarly complex operations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale improvement initiatives with measurable productivity, cost, quality, capacity, or service gains.
  • Strong experience with DMAIC, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving sustainable organizational change.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in highly automated distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
