Human Resources Generalist (Hybrid)

Location: Shakopee, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday; Mondays and Fridays may generally be worked remotely, subject to business needs. Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional work outside regular hours and travel as required.

Target annual salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide onsite day-to-day HR guidance to employees and leaders across a 500+ employee Operations division and multiple shifts.
• Partner with managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, policy interpretation, and coaching.
• Manage high-volume onboarding and offboarding while maintaining accurate data, compliance, and coordination across departments.
• Maintain job descriptions and support workforce planning, position requests, recruiting strategies, and compensation analysis.
• Serve as a superuser for HR platforms, including ATS, HRIS, timekeeping, compensation, and benefits systems.
• Lead or support HR projects involving process improvement, compliance, employee experience, and organizational change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced, face-to-face environment.
• Experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems and proficiency with Google, Microsoft Office, or related HR technology.
• Knowledge of employment and employee-related state and federal regulations.
• Experience with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, investigations, and performance management.
• Ability to work across organizational levels and support a multicultural, multi-shift Operations environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in light industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
• Experience with ADP, Workday, or Kronos.
• Experience developing recruiting strategies for frontline through executive positions.
