Plant Engineering Maintenance Engineer

Location: Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, United States. On-site plant role with up to 5% domestic travel. Relocation may be authorized.

Compensation: $98,964–$120,957 annually, including base pay and eligible variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Coordinate project timelines, budgets, construction activities, personnel, and external contractors.
• Manage and audit the site contractor management program.
• Apply codes and regulations to maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Analyze equipment failure, cost, and uptime data to implement reliability and product-quality improvements.
• Manage mechanical integrity, state-regulated equipment, and facility systems programs.
• Lead root cause analysis teams, Kaizen/TPM events, and problem-solving sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher plus six years of engineering or project management experience in equipment reliability, or a bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with plant maintenance and reliability engineering, including reliability analysis, predictive maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, computer, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with MS Office, statistical tools, SAMS, and MS Project.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least one year of contractor management experience.
