Senior Financial Analyst-Engineering

What you will do

• Administer the Corporate Engineering budget and support budget planning and forecasting.
• Perform budget, project, variance, and ad hoc financial analysis for Engineering initiatives.
• Prepare monthly business reviews, quarterly forecast updates, annual budget planning materials, and month-end accruals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Engineering leaders, Business Group leaders, and analysts.
• Support profitability enhancement initiatives, purchase requisition management, and capital expenditure tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant business discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Experience with financial forecasting and month-end accruals or accounting analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including creating, understanding, and maintaining financial models and analysis.
• Experience with SAP and business intelligence systems.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L analysis, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Engineering budget management experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience or experience at a publicly traded company.
• Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of GAAP and ability to read leases and contracts.
