Senior Project Manager (Construction)

Location: United States, Washington; remote arrangement with a hybrid role in the Southern Washington and Oregon markets. Travel to project sites may be required up to 50%.

Salary: $111,000–$161,500 base salary, plus benefits and potential performance incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of EPC and Design-Build projects from scope development and construction oversight through commissioning and measurement and verification.
• Manage complex solar PV, battery energy storage, electrical, mechanical, controls, and renewable energy projects.
• Control project budgets, cash flow, schedules, risks, performance guarantees, and profitability.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and vendors while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor project staff, and coordinate with finance, construction, and operations teams through commercial operation and financial close.
• Serve as the primary client contact and manage project meetings, design approvals, construction documents, and long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least seven years of project management experience in EPC, ESCO, and/or Design-Build construction.
• Experience managing complex solar, electrical, mechanical, controls, BESS, and renewable energy projects.
• Valid OSHA 30 Construction certification is required at the time of application.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, MS Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing, issued by the resident state, is required.

Nice to have

• PMP, CEM, CMVP, or LEED AP certification.
• Experience with public sector procurement and Washington Department of Enterprise Services.
• Knowledge of utility incentives, financing structures, utility interconnection, and commissioning for solar PV and BESS projects.
• Experience with energy modeling, savings calculations, and IPMVP measurement and verification protocols.
