Machine Operator - Second Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Lebanon, Ohio, United States. Onsite second shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM.

Manufactures equipment and systems for international pulp and paper process industries, with a manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Ohio.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate production machines including waterjet, gang drills, u-clip cutter, wave machine, shear, and punch press.
• Process parts according to blueprints and written or verbal specifications while meeting scheduled router hours.
• Select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
• Calculate and set machining controls for speed, feed, and coolant flow; maintain and edit programs for process optimization.
• Monitor operations, identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance processing, and adjust controls as needed.
• Clean and maintain tooling, parts, machinery, and the work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans, measuring instruments, and machining specifications.
• Ability to set up and operate manual machine equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane and maintain machining equipment.
• Strong mathematics, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; heavier loads require assistance or lifting equipment.
