Working Student - Technical Writer (m/f/x) (Geospatial)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany; enrolled at a German university and valid work permission in Germany required. Up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

hirify.global provides a geospatial platform for ordering, accessing, managing, and processing Earth observation data at scale.

What you will do

• Write and maintain technical documentation that enables user self-service.
• Produce and update documentation through a docs-as-code workflow using Git and Markdown.
• Gather implementation details from engineering and product stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to keep documentation accurate and useful.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree at a German university.
• Availability for a minimum 12-month working student commitment and up to 20 hours per week during the semester.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher with clear writing skills.
• Practical experience writing non-academic documentation.
• Experience collaborating with technical stakeholders across teams.

Nice to have

• Background or working knowledge in geospatial science.
• Experience with markup languages and version control systems.
• Experience with Python, Swagger, and Jupyter notebooks.
