Working Student Technical Documentation

Location: Munich, Germany; on-site position

hirify.global is a global life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology company; Beckman Coulter Diagnostics develops clinical diagnostic solutions used in hospitals, laboratories, and physician offices worldwide.

What you will do

• Support the creation and revision of technical documentation content in a content management system.
• Write and edit documentation for clinical diagnostics product lines in a regulated environment.
• Create multimedia assets, including 2D figures, 3D animations, photographs, videos, and screenshots.
• Follow company procedures, style guides, terminology guidelines, and relevant best practices.
• Collaborate with technical documentation colleagues and subject matter experts in software, engineering, technical support, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Life Science, Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
• Excellent English communication, writing, and grammar skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and subject matter experts.
• Ability to learn software tools and follow written procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience or foundational knowledge of content management systems, XML, and DITA.
• Experience or foundational knowledge of XMetal, Illustrator, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
• Interest in medical devices or diagnostics and working in an R&D environment.
