Medical Assistant (PACE)

Location: 1005 E Rosecrans Ave, Compton, California 90221, United States

Salary: $24.00–$27.00 per hour, plus a target annual bonus of 5%.

hirify.global provides integrated medical and social care for older adults through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), supporting participants in care centers and their homes.

What you will do

• Complete participant intake, rooming, vital signs, screenings, provider orders, and examination preparation.
• Perform laboratory testing, phlebotomy, EKGs, immunizations, injections, continuous glucose monitoring, and other routine procedures within scope of practice.
• Partner with providers and the Interdisciplinary Team to communicate observations, participant needs, and changes in status.
• Coordinate follow-up visits, external appointments, assessments, referrals, authorizations, and other activities supporting continuity of care.
• Respond to participant questions through phone, electronic inboxes, and other channels, escalating requests when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation, clinic readiness, medical equipment, supplies, logs, and inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or credential and current phlebotomy certification.
• Ability to perform routine clinical procedures, including intake, vital signs, screenings, and specimen collection.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and strong communication, organization, collaboration, and follow-through skills.
• Active CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet participant-facing health requirements, including communicable disease screening, TB clearance, immunizations, infection-control procedures, and applicable vaccination requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in PACE, geriatrics, primary care, integrated care, or value-based healthcare.
• Bilingual Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
• At least two years of experience working with older adults, frail elderly populations, or people with complex care needs.
