Medical Assistant (32hrs/wk) - Greenwood, IN

Location: Onsite at 2355 Endress Pl, Greenwood, IN 46143

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician in delivering patient care and a positive patient experience.
• Room patients, review medical information, collect health updates, and prepare clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, dress wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate front-desk activities, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist visits.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Conduct patient outreach, support care-plan development, and maintain clinical and office supplies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
