Senior Associate, Finance Operations

What you will do

• Own the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, reconciliations, and credit memo handling.
• Issue and track customer invoices, manage collections, and reconcile receipts under commercial contracts.
• Maintain monthly budget-versus-actuals tracking, identify variances, and hold budget owners accountable.
• Prepare board meeting slides and financial materials for investor updates.
• Manage expense workflows, 1099 filing support, multi-state sales and use tax registrations, exemption certificates, and month-end close coordination.
• Automate reconciliations, reporting, and repetitive finance administration using AI tools and scripting.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, audit, investment banking, private equity, or startup finance.
• Highly advanced Excel skills and the ability to build accurate financial models and board-ready presentations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to automate reconciliation, reporting, and administrative work with AI tools.
• Comfort holding budget owners accountable for deadlines and commitments.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward it, CFA Level I or higher, or equivalent qualifications.
• Startup or scale-up experience owning accounts payable, accounts receivable, and broader finance operations.
• Familiarity with Ramp and QuickBooks Online.
• Exposure to hardware, inventory, or fixed-asset accounting.
• Interest in aviation, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
