Senior / Staff Fullstack Product Engineer (AI)

Location: NYC, on-site

Salary: $200,000–$350,000 base salary per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Architect and ship full-stack product systems across React, Next.js, APIs, and PostgreSQL-backed services.
• Own features from concept through production, including technical design, implementation, edge cases, and product polish.
• Build scalable systems supporting complex workflows and data-rich experiences such as visualizations, dashboards, search, and document workflows.
• Partner with product and design to define scope, challenge assumptions, and deliver iteratively.
• Make decisions on application architecture, state management, data modeling, performance, and backend design.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, implementation guidance, abstractions, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack or software engineering experience, including ownership of production product systems.
• Full-stack fluency with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong product sense and the ability to make thoughtful product and engineering tradeoffs.
• Sound judgment in application architecture, maintainability, performance, data flow, and backend design.
• Technical leadership experience, including leading complex initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Clear communication, high attention to quality, and daily effective use of AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience owning large product surfaces or critical user workflows in production.
• Experience building data-heavy interfaces with tables, dashboards, charts, and search workflows.
• Experience with Supabase, Vercel, or similar deployment and database platforms.
• Early-stage startup experience and a bachelor's degree.
