Digital Design Engineer (IoT)

Location: Oslo, Norway

Annual base pay: kr479,150–kr889,850, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define, implement, verify, and deliver digital features for IoT products.
• Contribute to digital architectures and IP from concept through production.
• Develop RTL designs for processors, AI/ML compute engines, accelerators, peripherals, and system IP.
• Design digital interfaces to analog and mixed-signal modules.
• Perform simulation, formal verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and power/area optimization within an automated framework.
• Collaborate with analog design, verification, software, and product teams.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; recent graduates and students approaching graduation are encouraged to apply.
• Foundation in digital logic, computer architecture, or embedded systems.
• Coursework or project experience with an HDL such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Understanding of combinational and sequential logic, finite-state machines, clock and reset concepts, and common digital interfaces.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Exposure to digital verification through simulation, testbenches, assertions, or formal methods.
• Familiarity with synthesis, timing, and power/area trade-offs.
• Interest in digital designs interfacing with analog and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
