R&D Formulation Co-op (Lipid Nanoparticles)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; on-site, lab-based role

Salary: CAD 40,000–50,000 annually

What you will do

• Formulate, troubleshoot, and analyze lipid nanoparticles encapsulating nucleic acids.
• Use microfluidic mixing, dynamic light scattering, ultraviolet, and fluorescent assay methods.
• Maintain laboratory records and prepare standard operating procedures, reports, technical presentations, and standardized workflows.
• Support daily laboratory operations, including ordering, inventory management, organization, and workflow improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Current enrollment at a Canadian university in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, chemical or biological engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and general knowledge of formulation, analytical, or bioassay techniques.
• Practical experience with pipetting, weighing, pH adjustments, and formulation-related calculations.
• Resourceful, flexible, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
