Manager, Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma)

Location: Roosendaal, Netherlands; onsite role at a European Distribution Centre.

Salary: €90,000–€120,000 annually, depending on location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.

What you will do

• Analyse and redesign receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, value-added services, labelling, shipping, and supporting warehouse processes.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, root-cause analysis, and standard work to solve complex operational problems.
• Lead a prioritized continuous improvement roadmap from problem definition through implementation, sustainment, and benefits delivery.
• Improve labour productivity, throughput, capacity, material flow, automation utilization, operational reliability, quality, and service.
• Strengthen daily management through visual management, KPI routines, process controls, and standardization.
• Coach managers, supervisors, and frontline employees while collaborating with Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Customer Logistics, and Transportation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, Operational Excellence, or process improvement within distribution, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale improvement initiatives with measurable gains in productivity, cost, quality, capacity, or service.
• Strong experience with DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, root-cause analysis, data analysis, and structured problem solving.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving sustainable organizational change.

Nice to have

• Experience in highly automated distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
• Experience with time studies, shop-floor observations, performance analysis, and business-case development.
