Director, Thought Leadership and Newsroom (B2B SaaS)

Location: United States

Salary: $163,900–$235,550 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Define hirify.global's enterprise thought leadership strategy and identify the industry conversations where the company can build sustained authority.
• Build and lead an always-on B2B newsroom covering workforce trends, business developments, customer perspectives, technology, and emerging news.
• Develop proprietary research, data-driven stories, executive perspectives, customer narratives, rapid-response commentary, podcasts, interviews, and digital programming.
• Translate complex workforce, AI, technology, economic, and business issues into clear narratives for C-suite and enterprise audiences.
• Advise senior executives and develop customer and executive voices across media, events, digital channels, and industry forums.
• Build the team, editorial operating model, governance, agency ecosystem, standards, and measurement framework for the function.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in thought leadership, editorial strategy, journalism, corporate communications, research, content strategy, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in B2B technology, enterprise software, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated success building or leading a thought leadership, editorial, newsroom, or insights-driven communications function.
• Deep understanding of enterprise audiences and the B2B technology landscape, with experience creating narratives for C-suite decision-makers.
• Exceptional editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex technology and business issues into differentiated points of view.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience developing original research, proprietary data storytelling, or intellectual property that influenced external conversations.
• Understanding of reputation, category leadership, brand, demand, product positioning, customer proof, and sales in B2B SaaS.
• Experience as an on-camera or audio host, interviewer, moderator, or external representative.
• Experience advising senior executives and leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Interest in business, technology, AI, people, economics, and the changing nature of work.
