Process Engineering Manager (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead process engineering activities across manufacturing lines to improve yield, cycle time, throughput, and cost per unit.
• Own the site Operational Excellence roadmap covering Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE, first-pass yield, and scrap reduction.
• Define and implement automation, robotics, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop process engineering systems, data pipelines, real-time dashboards, automated reporting, and MES/data lake integrations.
• Lead AI and machine learning applications for yield prediction, computer-vision defect detection, anomaly detection, adaptive SPC, and predictive quality alerts.
• Manage process qualification, control plans, change management, CAPEX business cases, and cross-functional resolution of quality and yield excursions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, electrical and electronics, mechanical, chemical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience leading Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence programs with measurable improvements in yield, cost, or throughput.
• Strong skills in SPC, DOE, process capability analysis, and Cpk targets, plus experience with CAPEX budget management.
• Experience leading automation or Industry 4.0 projects from business case development through implementation and sustained adoption.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent quality systems for process control and change management.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Master certification.
• Experience with robotics, cobots, AMHS, MES, SCADA, or IIoT platforms.
• Data analytics or programming experience with Python, SQL, Minitab, or JMP.
• Experience deploying machine learning models using scikit-learn or TensorFlow in manufacturing.
• Organizational change management experience for technology or process adoption.
