Senior Manufacturing Manager (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Own manufacturing performance across assigned production lines, including output, yield, cycle time, cost per unit, and on-time delivery.
• Lead a multi-shift organization of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians with typically more than 500 employees.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives to reduce cost, scrap, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering, Quality, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks and meet demand.
• Lead capacity planning, production scheduling, NPI, and technology transfer activities.
• Manage operating budgets, EHS performance, site-level KPIs, corrective actions, coaching, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 3–5 years managing multi-shift operations.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing and knowledge of back-end assembly, test, or wafer fab processes.
• Demonstrated success with Lean/Six Sigma improvements and manufacturing cost-center or P&L budgets.
• Understanding of EHS requirements and quality systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain production and engineering talent.

Nice to have

• Automotive semiconductor experience with PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949.
• Experience with MES, SAP, manufacturing execution, or ERP systems.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, digital transformation, or global matrixed organizations.
