Manufacturing Manager (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily production and assembly operations for complex semiconductor equipment.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, QA, Logistics, warehouse, and materials teams to achieve production goals and on-time delivery.
• Lead, train, and motivate supervisors, technicians, and assemblers while managing KPIs and performance reviews.
• Maintain in-process quality checks, final testing standards, audit readiness, and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Drive lean manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, cost reduction, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage assembly tools, fixtures, equipment, material usage, inventory control, and MES or ERP tracking implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 7 years of production or assembly experience, including 3 or more years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing or high-tech system integration is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with metal box-build assembly, including Power Boxes and PDUs, welding, and coating processes.
• Familiarity with electrical and functional testing equipment and procedures, GD&T, and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
• Ability to lead cross-functional capacity-planning teams and apply lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving methods.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
