What you will do
- Provide hands-on technical support to on-site users, resolving hardware, software, and general IT issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot incidents, escalating complex problems to the appropriate technical teams.
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor IT equipment and services.
- Support infrastructure projects, deployments, upgrades, and other site-based technology activities.
- Maintain accurate incident, equipment, and technical activity records.
- Identify recurring issues and collaborate with colleagues to improve user experience and service reliability.
Requirements
- Security clearance eligibility is required.
- Applicants must be sole UK nationals and must have lived and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years; dual nationals cannot be considered.
- Experience in IT support, service desk, field services, infrastructure, or a similar technical environment.
- Knowledge of common IT hardware, software, networking, and user support concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical teams, follow security procedures, and maintain accurate records.
Nice to have
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar IT qualifications and certifications.
