Director, Business Planning & Operations (Payments)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $178,300–$285,600 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop and refine marketing strategy supporting hirify.global’s 2030 Strategy and growth in consumer and B2B payments.
• Build market opportunity views using competitive intelligence, customer insights, financial data, and consumer trends.
• Lead strategic workstreams, including marketing strategy development, client forums, and leadership initiatives.
• Set and manage OKRs and KPIs, track performance, and drive corrective actions across marketing initiatives.
• Advance AI adoption by prioritizing use cases, defining guardrails and success metrics, and scaling approved tools.
• Prepare concise executive updates with recommendations, impacts, risks, and clear decisions required.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Experience in business strategy, business operations, product operations, program management, management consulting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, including cleaning, evaluating, joining, and interpreting multiple datasets.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing programs.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week.
