Project Manager (Asana)

What you will do

• Manage multiple strategic and operational projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, and closure.
• Maintain accurate portfolio status in Asana and flag high-priority items for Senior Leadership visibility by the 10th–12th of each month.
• Run project governance using RAID logs, decision logs, action tracking, and structured escalation.
• Enforce PMO intake and delivery standards, follow up on overdue actions, and report project performance honestly.
• Build and maintain Asana workflows, automations, forms, templates, and integrations to reduce manual follow-up.
• Communicate clearly with directors and VPs and support the development of the PMO Senior Associate through structured delegation.

Requirements

• Location: remote work from Rwanda or Mauritius.
• 5+ years of project management experience with demonstrated full-lifecycle delivery across multiple projects.
• Experience managing concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience configuring and automating a work management platform; Asana is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of project methodologies, risk management, stakeholder mapping, and governance practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, accountability, and composure under pressure.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with ClickUp, Monday, or Jira as alternatives to Asana.
