Senior IT Project Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead complex regulatory and innovation projects from inception to completion, including the build and roll-out of product functionalities and components.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and delivery forecasts.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, quality, and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-divisional teams, including development teams, regional stakeholders, clients, and senior executives.
• Provide weekly project status updates, manage project budgets and ETC reviews, and identify delivery roadblocks.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and mentor junior project managers and team members.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of project management experience delivering complex cross-functional projects at a senior level.
• Experience in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and/or BPaaS environments and software project lifecycle execution.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, discuss technical details with developers, lead diverse teams, and drive consensus.
• Fluent English required; German is an asset.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with RFI and RFP processes, vendor negotiations, contracting, hiring, and third-party management.
• Exposure to the financial services industry.
