Internship: Software Engineer (Space Systems)

Location: Hybrid in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain

What you will do

• Collaborate on the development of space systems simulation models.
• Contribute to test automation, validation campaigns, and implementation activities.
• Work with containerized environments and tools compliant with ESA standards.
• Document code and test results.
• Participate in technical reviews alongside experienced space-program engineers.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Required knowledge of C/C++, Python, and Linux.
• Be able to work in a hybrid setup in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of model-based engineering tools such as MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, or UMF.
• Experience with Git, DevOps, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, NS3/OMNeT, or 5G.
