Senior Program Manager - Energy

Location: Remote in British Columbia, Canada; regular in-person travel to clients, team members, offices, and customer sites in BC and other Canadian provinces is required, averaging once per month.

Salary: CAD 130,000–140,000 targeted salary; compensation range CAD 118,200–205,000.

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of commercial and industrial energy-efficiency programs for clients across Canada.
• Oversee Program Managers and Operations staff across program implementation, cost management, performance tracking, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage contract execution, renewals, amendments, client engagement strategy, and senior-level client relationships.
• Own program forecasting, P&L reporting, KPI tracking, data management, and financial performance for portfolios of up to $20M.
• Direct multifunctional teams of 10–30 people, including 4–7 direct reports, and coordinate with engineering and outreach functions.
• Support business development, proposal responses, process improvements, and tool development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in energy efficiency or utility programs.
• 5+ years of people management experience and experience leading large-scale Commercial & Industrial programs.
• Experience managing P&L of at least $5M.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MS or MBA preferred.
• Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support; regular monthly travel within Canada is required.
