Senior Staff, Dx Platform Enterprise Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Remote role associated with Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annual base salary, plus potential bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Define and evolve the architectural strategy and roadmap for the Diagnostics Platform.
• Establish architectural standards, principles, governance practices, and review processes.
• Drive platform reuse, reduce redundancy, and improve speed to market across diagnostic operating companies.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and technical leaders to identify shared needs and mitigate architectural risks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools for platform capability and efficiency improvements.
• Provide architectural guidance for secure, scalable shared platform services and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or a similar strategic technical role.
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, integration patterns, API management, and cybersecurity best practices.

Nice to have

• 5+ years in a platform-level architecture role overseeing multiple product lines or operating companies.
• Experience in a large, complex, multi-operating-company structure.
• Healthcare regulatory knowledge, including FDA and HIPAA requirements.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile software development practices.
• Architectural certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
