Director, Enterprise Architecture (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role for candidates local to the Boston, MA or Hingham, MA offices.

Salary: $202,050–$246,950 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay.

What you will do

• Define, communicate, and govern the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, roadmap, and target-state architecture.
• Lead and develop a team of senior architects.
• Establish architecture standards, the Architecture Review Board, and governance processes.
• Evaluate emerging healthcare technologies, including Generative AI, interoperability, and personalized experiences.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to translate business strategy into technology solutions.
• Manage technology lifecycle planning, architecture budgets, resource allocation, security reviews, risk assessments, and ROI analysis.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or IT leadership, with a focus on healthcare.
• 5+ years of senior leadership and people management experience.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and leading architecture governance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus microservices and APIs.
• Understanding of EHRs, claims processing systems, member engagement platforms, HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS Interoperability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; TOGAF certification is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
• Healthcare-specific certification such as CPHIMS.
