Wholesale Operations Specialist (Marketplace Operations)

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end outbound and marketplace operations, including inventory, seasonal orderbooks, pricing, promotions, and customer service.
• Support the sales team and serve as the primary customer contact for seasonal product, pricing, and reporting information.
• Own the outbound flow of goods during the shipping season and ensure complete, accurate, and timely customer deliveries.
• Coordinate information flow across production, sales, merchandising, finance, warehouse, and logistics functions.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and customer service quality.
• Prepare shipping and sales reports, interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights to management and special accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of customer service or sales account management experience, preferably in a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent Excel skills, particularly VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, challenge data accuracy, and collaborate across functions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another European language.
• Experience in a related fashion or retail industry.
