Principle Product Manager (Platform Services)

What you will do

• Analyze market trends, competitors, user needs, technology trends, and ecosystem challenges to identify platform service opportunities.
• Define product vision, mission, KGI/KPIs, business strategy, and long-term product roadmaps.
• Plan service functionalities, use cases, detailed requirements, and data-driven UX and UI improvements.
• Lead product development with agile engineering teams, managing progress, risks, issues, release plans, and quality assurance coordination.
• Evaluate released products using KGI/KPIs, user feedback, and data analysis to drive continuous improvements, profitability, and user satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with legal, security, privacy, and brand guidelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading the end-to-end product lifecycle from strategy and development through release and growth.
• Experience with market and competitor analysis, problem identification, strategy formulation, solution design, and execution support.
• Deep knowledge of IT services, internet business models, and technology trends.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, communication, consensus-building, autonomy, and execution skills.
• Advanced English and Japanese proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Product Owner or Product Manager experience in agile development, including Scrum.
• 5+ years of experience at a strategic or IT consulting firm.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, or API economy platform businesses.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics for data analysis.
• Experience launching new businesses or growing existing products.
