Modelling and Simulation System Engineer (C++)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working is available when possible.

What you will do

• Design and program real-time software models that simulate aircraft and subsystem behavior, including navigation, avionics, radio, and hydraulics.
• Participate in formal product development phases following Airbus systems engineering processes.
• Interface software models with physical simulator hardware and components.
• Perform end-to-end system integration testing and performance validation.
• Ensure simulation products meet international safety, quality, and performance standards for the aerospace and defense industries.

Requirements

• Degree in aeronautical, telecommunications, software, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Programming experience with C, C++, Python, or Ada in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Qt and adaptability to new topics, business areas, and networking-based collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with CASE tools, Git, SVN, or CI/CD.
