Senior Product Designer (Accessibility)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design from discovery and research synthesis through ideation, prototyping, validation, delivery, and iteration.
• Design coherent, scalable experiences across the Polaris, Embrace Education, and Spedtrack IEP product portfolio.
• Translate user insights, product analytics, and business objectives into accessible solutions for educators, administrators, and students.
• Contribute to product strategy, shared interaction patterns, and hirify.global’s design system.
• Explore practical applications of AI in design workflows and product experiences while considering trust, transparency, usability, accessibility, and user control.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Content, Marketing, and other designers through workshops, design reviews, and co-creation sessions.

Requirements

• Significant product design experience, including at least 3 years at Senior Product Designer level, with a portfolio showing measurable outcomes.
• Experience framing ambiguous and complex problems, influencing product direction, and designing interconnected products, workflows, or end-to-end journeys.
• Experience with inclusive and universal design, cognitive load reduction, and recognised accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2.
• Hands-on experience contributing to design systems, interaction design, prototyping, and modern design tools such as Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced design workflows and human-AI interaction patterns, including trust, transparency, uncertainty, and user control.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with Product Management and Engineering, plus experience with Agile, Lean UX, continuous discovery, and iterative delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for Web, iOS, and Android in a complex SaaS environment.
• Experience in education, accessibility, assistive technology, enterprise, or multi-user products with complex permissions and workflows.
• Experience shipping AI-enabled product experiences or using AI-assisted prototyping and design-to-development workflows.
• Experience with product analytics and experimentation.
