Sr Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States. Hybrid work options are available for team members located in Los Angeles or Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Own ambiguous product design challenges from discovery through delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• Define interaction patterns for AI agents and conversational experiences, including response structures, chained actions, generated interfaces, and error states.
• Extend design systems and component libraries with reusable patterns, governance, and documentation.
• Create prototypes and design frameworks using Figma, AI-assisted tools, or code in partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Lead UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated interfaces, and layouts before release.
• Use workflows, journey maps, and service mapping to align stakeholders, mentor designers, and improve design practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional product design experience and a portfolio with at least three relevant case studies.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, including component-driven architecture, variables, and interactive prototyping.
• Strong interaction, UX, UI, visual, and accessibility design fundamentals.
• Experience maintaining and improving design systems and working independently as a design lead.
• Working knowledge of front-end concepts such as components, design tokens, states, and responsive behavior.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, critique, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-native, agentic, conversational, enterprise, analytics, or other complex data-intensive products.
• Familiarity with Claude, Figma Make, and other AI-powered design and prototyping tools.
• Experience in defense, government, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance where applicable.
• Experience working as a shared design resource across multiple teams.
