Customer Service Engineer I (AV)

Location: Remote role in France; approximately 80% of duties are performed onsite at customer locations, with more than 80% travel required.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in audiovisual and cinema systems.
• Perform field repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations at customer locations.
• Use software, error logs, and service manuals to troubleshoot AV equipment at board level.
• Apply standard tools, procedures, service standards, KPIs, and safety regulations.
• Travel frequently, including domestic and international travel, often on short notice.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in technical customer service within the AV industry or a related field.
• Technical or electrical degree, or proven AV experience.
• Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of audio signal processing, audio signal flow, and audio I/O integration.
• Ability to work onsite on a permanent basis and travel more than 80% of working time.
