ETCH Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Icheon-Gwango, South Korea; onsite customer and cleanroom work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation and service delivery.
• Work in cleanrooms using required personal protective equipment and hand and power tools.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer service, field service, or related technical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose basic technical issues.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all onsite safety and environmental requirements.

Nice to have

• 2–4 years of customer or field service experience in a related technical field.
