Manager, Software Engineering

Location: Krakow, Poland; up to 10% travel, including occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of business logic engineers delivering solutions, enhancements, and platform extensions.
• Set standards for code quality, security, testing, peer reviews, and maintainable engineering practices.
• Enable Agile and CI/CD delivery with quality gates, traceability, version control, documentation, and audit-ready SDLC compliance.
• Partner with Architecture, Analysis & Design, Release Management, and Operations teams to deliver scalable and supportable solutions.
• Ensure deployment readiness, operational stability, and alignment with enterprise standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading software engineering teams and delivering enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, SDLC governance, traceability, and audit-ready delivery.
• Experience working in regulated environments, including GxP/CSV and SOX.
• Experience with enterprise development toolchains, source control, and change management processes.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering customizations and extensions on vendor-supported enterprise platforms.
• Experience with engineering quality metrics and test automation strategies.
