About the role
Airbnb is looking for an experienced HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to support its workforce across the Americas. The role sits within the Employee Experience team and combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
— Act as a key HR partner for assigned business teams and advise managers and employees on people matters.
— Support Employee Experience and People strategy, understanding business priorities and translating them into HR solutions.
— Coach managers and employees on complex people topics.
— Partner with Centers of Expertise on performance management, compensation reviews, talent reviews and employee listening.
— Collaborate with Legal, Total Rewards, Talent Ops and other HR teams.
— Identify workforce trends and use HR data and KPIs to support business decisions.
— Maintain accurate employee data in Workday.
— Support employee relations, investigations and organizational initiatives.

Requirements
— 8+ years of progressive HR experience in fast-moving, high-growth global companies.
— Deep expertise across 4+ HR areas, such as HRBP, compensation, recruiting, employee relations or talent management.
— Strong knowledge of HR operations, compensation & benefits, talent management, organization design and change management.
— Experience handling sensitive employee matters and investigations.
— Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
— Experience using data to influence business leaders.
— Workday experience is highly preferred.
— Experience with AI platforms and tools for managing work and outcomes.

Location
The position is remote within the US, but candidates must live in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity. Occasional office or offsite attendance may be required.
