What you will do
- Establish test strategies to verify electronic units against customer requirements, project schedules, cost, and quality objectives.
- Participate in customer technical discussions from negotiation and project kickoff through in-flight operations.
- Support requirement assessment, risk identification, flight-unit architecture, and ground equipment design using a design-for-testing approach.
- Lead the definition of the EGSE architecture and resolve technical issues with cross-functional engineering specialists.
- Document design validation through verification control documents, test procedures, reports, and project milestone reviews.
- Support integration, qualification, and acceptance campaigns for flight models, including development of tooling, vibration fixtures, and thermal fixtures.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a science discipline.
- At least five years of experience in validation and verification of electronic units.
- Negotiation-level English and Spanish, both written and spoken, are required.
- Experience or aptitude for task automation, scripting, digital design tools, and simulators.
- Strong communication, reporting, customer-orientation, teamwork, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously while coordinating test engineers and technicians.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of space-environment constraints and European space regulations, including ESCC and SMD.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of advanced test instrumentation, test automation, scripting, and data management.
- Willingness to learn and teach others.
