Test Engineer for General Systems and AAR Systems (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; on-site aircraft, laboratory, ground-test, and flight-test activities.

What you will do

• Prepare and execute integration tests in virtual environments, laboratories, rigs, and on aircraft.
• Support flight-test and simulator campaigns, including telemetry follow-up, safety monitoring, data reduction, and results analysis.
• Define test requirements, procedures, plans, and reports for development, certification, qualification, and production activities.
• Control test means, system configurations, limitations, instrumentation, and data-monitoring setups.
• Interface with test integrators, design offices, chief engineering, project coordinators, certification authorities, test engineers, and test pilots.
• Investigate and track system misbehaviours, validate test results, and optimize test-data analysis methods.

Requirements

• Aeronautical Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of testing experience.
• Experience defining, preparing, and executing aircraft tests for general systems, flight control systems, and powerplant systems.
• Experience with configuration control, aircraft prototypes, first-flight testing, test means, and ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of flight-test instrumentation, test-support systems, real-time monitoring, verification and validation of monitoring displays, and test-results reporting.
• Advanced English and Spanish required.
