Senior Consultant, Sustainability Advisory

Location: Flexible hybrid work from the office in Berlin-Mitte or central Munich

hirify.global is building an environmental intelligence platform that helps large industrial companies measure, manage, and reduce carbon emissions.

What you will do

• Deliver billable sustainability advisory engagements from scoping and hypothesis-driven analysis through quantification, deliverables, and client presentations.
• Lead smaller engagements and drive workstreams on larger client projects.
• Build the advisory pipeline by converting client and software conversations into scoped opportunities and developing proposals with Sales.
• Turn recurring client questions into repeatable, priced advisory packages with defined deliverables, duration, and day rates.
• Support Sales and Supplier Engagement as a sustainability subject matter expert on EU regulation, Scope 3 methodology, and decarbonisation levers.
• Connect advisory work with the environmental intelligence platform and maintain account operating discipline, including time tracking, pipeline hygiene, and project margin management.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in a consulting environment, with sustainability as a core focus.
• Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, Scope 1/2/3, decarbonisation, and EU regulations including CBAM, CSRD, EUDR, and EU ETS.
• Experience owning client-facing workstreams, structuring problems, quantifying business cases, and presenting to senior and C-level stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to proposals or pitches and understanding how consulting deals are won and delivered.
• Consulting-standard skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides and Excel or Sheets, with ownership of analysis and numbers.
• Business-fluent English is required; business-level German is advantageous.
